Minestrone Veronese - an Italian soup not as difficult to prepare as the list of ingredients suggests.

Molasses spiced cookies - one of the thousand cookies one can prepare for a special occasion.

Moroccan milkshakes - Chilled milkshakes and fruit juices are great to fight the Moroccan heat and that is why they are so popular. Moroccan milkshakes, however, store a few falvorful surprises for the untrained palate, such as rose water flavors or apple shakes.

Moussakaa - the popular dish with fired eggplant slices, ground lamb and tomato sauce, prepared the Egyptian way and with the Egyptian spelling.

Mughlai paratha - this very simple dish is the perfect accompaniment for chicken Mughlai.

Mughlai pulao - from India, this is a distinctive example of Mughlai cuisine, one of the cultural variations in Indian food.

Mulled wine - another very British Christmas tradition, exported to many other countries.

Mushroom and spinach chow mein - from China.

Mussel and Onion Stew - Scottish dish great for the Fall season.
