Texas Sheet Cake

Mix together;
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Boil together over a medium heat;
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
3 tablespoons cocoa
add this to the flour mix.

Beat together;
2 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup buttermilk
add to the mix. Batter will be thin.

Grease and flour a shallow pan. Pour in batter and bake for 20 minutes at 350F

Frosting

Start 5 minutes before the cake is done.

Heat in a pan, do NOT boil;
1 stick butter
3 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk

add;
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar

Pour over cake as it come out of the oven
